What a yarn!

All you really need to worry about if you are just starting to learn is this... not all yarn is the same. Sometimes you need a specific yarn for a specific project just like you might need a wrench instead of a screwdriver.

Mostly you need to make sure the yarn you are using will be able to handle whatever the purpose is of your project.

Making socks? Maybe you need something durable. Making an intricate lace boarder? You might not want the big heavy duty industrial strength material.
